Trinh named 2022 Young Urologist of the Year

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital Associate Surgeon and Director of Ambulatory Clinical Operations for Brigham and Women’s Division of Urological Surgery Quoc-Dien Trinh, MD, FACS, has been named the 2022 Young Urologist of the Year by the American Urological Association (AUA).

The award, sponsored by the AUA Young Urologists Committee, is presented annually to an AUA member in each Section and on behalf of the Society of Government Service Urologists (SGSU) in recognition of their efforts and commitment to advancing the development of early-career urologists. Dr. Trinh’s selection was based on a nomination submitted by Dr. Angela Arlen, the New England representative to the AUA Young Urologists Committee, and approved by his Section.

For Dr. Trinh, the award is a great honor, but one he says is thanks to those with whom he works. “This award is a tribute to the amazing support I have received from my mentors, colleagues, collaborators and trainees over the past decade,” he says.

Dr. Trinh will be formally presented with the 2022 Young Urologist of the Year Award during the Young Urologists Forum program at the AUA 2022 Annual Meeting in New Orleans on Saturday, May 14.
