The Mass General Brigham system is launching a process to combine clinical departments and academic programs across Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) as single departments.

Work is now underway on Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital's campus expansion project. The expansion will include a new parking garage and a five-story inpatient addition that will have 78 new single occupancy inpatient rooms.
