Materials Management staff receive I CARE Awards

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s I CARE Award recognizes staff members from all areas of the hospital who go above and beyond their regular job responsibilities to make BWFH a great place to work and receive care. Dan Francillon and Anthony Cobuccio from Materials Management were recent recipients of I CARE Awards.

Both were nominated for their I CARE Awards by Manager of Materials Management Hazel Carleton.

In her nomination letter, Carleton wrote of Francillon:

Since losing some of our “runners” a few months ago, Dan has had to run and maintain the Receiving Department solo. From morning until sometime into the evening hours, Dan does his best to process and deliver thousands of packages that come through our dock every day. From the normal questions of “Where’s my package” to directing “traffic” for multiple deliveries in one of the smallest receiving docks in the MGB family, Dan has handled it with grace and a smile. Thank you, Dan!

Of Cobuccio, she wrote:

Since returning to Faulkner, Tony has greatly contributed to the improvement of the Materials Management customer service and workflow. From bridging the gap regarding communication to helping build the warehouse overall, Tony is the “backbone” of our team. His patience and kindness, as well as his amazing pragmatic leadership, have been an important part of the Materials Management rebuild. Thank you, Tony!

Do you know a BWFH employee who has gone above and beyond to demonstrate BWFH’s I CARE Standards? To nominate a fellow colleague for an I CARE Award, please visit our employee intranet, BWFH - Vitals. A team of colleagues will personally recognize the employee by presenting them with balloons, a thank you card and a gift certificate redeemable in the cafeteria or Atrium Café.
