Men have unique health care needs, which is just one of the reasons that Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital created the Men’s Health Center – to provide specialized and comprehensive care tailored to men. As part of Brigham and Women’s Department of Urology, the Men’s Health Center is a state-of-the-art facility established to meet the growing demand for services that address common but troubling health issues that can significantly impact quality of life, such as erectile dysfunction (ED), male infertility, Peyronie’s disease and vasectomy.
Male sexual health concerns are common and increase with age, as well as following treatment for serious medical conditions, such as prostate cancer. The Men’s Health Center at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital takes a sensitive and proactive approach to helping men with problems related to sexuality and reproduction.
Under the direction of board-certified and fellowship-trained urologist Dr. Michael O’Leary, the medical team evaluates each patient’s condition and develops a customized treatment plan, which may include medications, injection therapy or surgical intervention.
