Sleep Medicine

Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders is one of the select programs in the country designated as a Comprehensive Academic Sleep Program of Distinction by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine for adult patients with sleep disorders.

The Division’s Sleep Disorders Clinic, located at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, is focused on providing the highest quality of care to patients with the full range of sleep problems. The clinic is staffed by experienced and accomplished board-certified sleep specialists. The team is expert in providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of all adult sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, central sleep apnea and sleep disorders associated with medical, psychiatric and neurological disorders.

The services provided at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital include:

  • Comprehensive evaluation and management
    • Virtual visits through video or phone appointment are available
  • Polysomnography (in-laboratory sleep testing)
  • Home sleep testing
  • Multiple sleep latency testing (daytime nap study)
  • Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) treatment
  • Inspire upper airway stimulation therapy
  • Sleep-related research projects open to participation by the patients

For patients requiring a full sleep study, you will be referred to the Sleep Testing Center, also located at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. Sleep medicine services also available at these clinics.
