Interventional Radiology

Interventional Radiology services include picc lines, lumbar punctures, myelograms and arthorgrams. The arthrograms we perform include injections for pain management and image guided connection with CT and MRI to help identify different types of abnormalities in the joints. Results for your exam are generally available for your provider to view on the same day of your exam.

Q. How can I schedule an appointment?

A. Please contact your physician and have them call 617-983-7020 to schedule your appointment.
Interventional Radiology is available for outpatient procedures Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Q. Are there any precautions before my exam?

A. If you are scheduled for a picc line or arthogram, there are no precautions need. If you are scheduled for a lumbar puncture or myelogram, please have a responsible adult pick you up after your procedure.
