Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital (BWFH) has one General Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) established in 2009. Our PFAC is a group of patients, family members, and hospital staff dedicated to improving the care experience of patients and family members.

Ways in which PFAC members help shape the patient experience at Mass General Brigham include:

Providing feedback to the hospital based on their personal experiences as patients or family members.
Serving on committees with hospital staff and clinicians.
Lending patient expertise to discussion groups, educations sessions, and other initiatives.
Reviewing educational and other materials designed for patients and families. Helping the hospital plan changes to improve how it takes care of patients.
