 Derrick Todd, MD, PhD

Derrick Todd, MD, PhD, has been named Chief of Clinical Rheumatology at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. Dr. Todd has been an important member of BWFH’s rheumatology team for over 10 years, serving as both a clinician and an educator. He succeeds Kenneth Pariser, MD, who recently retired.

Dr. Todd is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and a fellowship in Rheumatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

In his new role, Dr. Todd will oversee clinical operations in the rheumatology center at BWFH, which specializes in diseases that affect the joints, muscles, bones and immune system. Of this new challenge, Dr. Todd says, “I am looking forward to being a more integral part of the BWFH community.”
