Moments that Make Us advertising spot features BWFH patient and Paralympian Morgan Stickney

The second spot in Mass General Brigham’s advertising campaign—Moments that Make Us—features stories from across the system to highlight our advanced research, breakthrough innovation, health equity and community care. Among those featured in the spot, which launched during the Olympics Opening Ceremony last Friday, is Morgan Stickney, a swimmer who has undergone not one, but two Ewing amputations. The Ewing amputation is a novel surgical procedure pioneered by Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s Matthew Carty, MD, that enables her to perform complex actions and feel sensation by allowing her brain to interact with a robotic prosthetic.

Introducing the new BWFH brand: Aligning with our broader system

Brigham Health will no longer be used as part of BWFH’s external brand identity, and there will no longer be a Brigham Health logo. In cases where there is a need to formally refer to a program or activities that span across Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital and the Brigham Physicians Organization (BWPO), please write out each institution by name. For internal purposes only, it is acceptable to use the phrase “Brigham family,” when referencing collective work across these entities.

Letters from our patients and their families

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital staff and employees often receive heartfelt thank you notes and survey comments from the patients and families they serve. The messages here are devoted to featuring those special words from patients and family members who have benefitted from the incredible compassion and expert skill of our superb staff.

COVID-19 Updates

COVID-19 vaccination actions all employees need to take

More than 85 percent of Mass General Brigham employees are vaccinated!

Thanks to everyone who has been vaccinated, Mass General Brigham has one of the highest vaccination rates nationwide among health care systems. Getting vaccinated is the single most important and responsible step each of us can take to put an end to this devastating pandemic and protect patients, families and each other.

If you received your vaccine at a non-Mass General Brigham vaccine clinic, please provide your vaccination documentation from any outside vaccination site using this survey to record and upload your vaccine documentation. Please log in using your Mass General Brigham login and password and select Non-MGB Vaccine Clinic or Outside Provider to submit your documentation. By providing this information, we can improve the accuracy of our vaccination rates and update your EPIC and employee records to ensure we have everyone’s accurate vaccination information.

Please Note: employees of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute do not need to complete this survey.

If you received your vaccine at a Mass General Brigham clinic, you will need to provide consent to have your vaccination record sent from Epic to PeopleSoft and to your Occupational Health record. Please use this survey to answer the consent question. Please log in using your Mass General Brigham login and password and select MGB Sponsored Vaccine Clinic to navigate to the consent question.
