Kelly, MD, Award honors an associate program director of a medicine-pediatrics residency program who demonstrates the teaching excellence, collaborative leadership, and compassionate patient care that modeled so well by its namesake, Dr. Kelly, who served as associate program director of the Baystate Medicine-Pediatrics Program in Springfield, MA, for 18 years.
In addition to her work in the Meds-Peds program, Monaghan serves as Medical Director of Brigham and Women's Family Care Associates at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. Partners' Primary Care Award for Leadership recognizes Monaghan for her outstanding leadership of Family Care Associates over the past five years, including her work to cultivate collaboration, strengthen resident education and enhance the clinic's delivery of high-quality, culturally competent patient care.
