The Finance Department at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is pleased to welcome Esteban Sanchez-Garcia to the role of Senior Financial Analyst where he will work closely with department leaders to develop and manage their annual operating budgets.
Born and raised in Colombia, Sanchez-Garcia earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He went on to complete his master’s degree in Project Management also at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He moved to the United Stated in 2016 and began his career. He comes to BWFH from Granite Telecommunications where he served as Finance Project Manager.
“I have always admired Mass General Brigham as an organization and I am eager to learn the healthcare industry and how our organization is structured, from Mass General Brigham down through the local entities,” he says of his decision to take on this new role.
Still settling in, Sanchez-Garcia is getting to know the department heads with whom he will be working. So far, it’s been a positive experience. “I see myself working here for a long time,” he says.
Sanchez-Garcia describes himself as a city person. When he is not at work, he enjoys exploring Boston with friends and running near his home in South Boston.
