In this role, he works closely with Director of Pharmacy Services Joshua Guerin, PharmD, MBA, overseeing Pharmacy operations, including informatics, finance, procurement and compliance.

“I love BWFH’s close-knit community and welcoming atmosphere,” says Nguyen of his workplace. “I feel very fortunate to work with such a great team of friendly coworkers both within and outside the Pharmacy Department. It seems like every time I am walking through the halls of this hospital, I’m greeted with smiles and friendly hellos!”

Palazzo, a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy, has been promoted from Medication Safety Coordinator to Clinical Pharmacy & Medication Safety Manager. In her new role, Palazzo is charged with managing quality, safety and clinical pharmacy program development.

Of her workplace, Palazzo says, “I love the welcoming atmosphere here at BWFH and the fact that I am able to work with multidisciplinary teams who are all dedicated to improving patient safety.”
