BWFH, in partnership with The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation, is pleased to offer Stop the Bleed trainings to teach staff and the public how to save a life in the event of an emergency. Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action that encourages bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleed emergency before professional help arrives. Participants will learn basic bleeding control techniques, tourniquet application, and wound packing. The trainings are free and open to staff and anyone in the public. The next training at BWFH will be held on Friday, November 22, from 3 to 4 pm in Mary Ann Tynan Conference Room 1. To register, email email@example.com.
