Nephrology

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital (BWFH) provides the full range of care in nephrology, or the study and care of the kidneys, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Our nephrologists also see patients in Brigham Medical Specialties, a multispecialty clinic located in suite 4G. Patients may be referred for chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stones, acute kidney injury, glomerular diseases, acid-base disorders, fluid and electrolyte disorders and other disorders related to the kidneys.

BWFH provides hemodialysis using state-of-the-art equipment in our inpatient dialysis unit while peritoneal dialysis is provided to patients at the bedside. Learn more about dialysis services at BWFH.
