at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital

Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

Brigham and Women’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is a medical program designed to assist you in making heart healthy lifestyle choices to lower your risk of heart disease and stroke.

If you have a heart condition, underwent a heart procedure or had a heart attack, ask your doctor about joining cardiac rehabilitation.

Under the direction of board certified Brigham and Women’s cardiologists, the staff includes cardiac nurses, physical therapists/exercise physiologists and registered dietitians.

Brigham and Women's offers you two convenient locations:

  • Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain
  • Mass General Brigham Healthcare Center (Foxborough)

Both of these programs are certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). This certification means that these programs meet or exceed national care standards.

These 11-week programs features once- or twice-weekly sessions. These sessions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays at a variety of different times to suit your schedule. View our current schedule to stay up-to-date on our cardiac rehab classes.

The program includes weekly monitored exercise sessions tailored to your individual needs, nutrition counseling, health education, and a comprehensive stress management program that focuses on learning positive coping skills and relaxation techniques.
