Patient Experience Department welcomes new Patient Experience Program Manager

The Patient Experience Department at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is pleased to welcome Amanda Moses as its new Patient Experience Program Manager.

Moses earned her bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from Florida State University and is currently completing her Master of Public Health at Goodwin University. She comes to BWFH from Salem Hospital where she most recently served as Patient Experience Specialist. “I am in my final semester as a Master of Public Health candidate and was looking for a new position that utilizes my MPH research and development skills as well as my background in Patient Experience at Salem Hospital, and this role is the perfect marriage of both!” she says.

Here at BWFH, Moses will focus will be helping to facilitate improvements and evidence-based strategies that support the hospital's existing culture of exceptional patient experience. She says, “I can help support ongoing patient experience efforts by assisting department leaders with data, development, content and consultation.”

In her first few weeks on the job, Moses has been busy getting to know her new colleagues. “I have been welcomed into the Patient Experience Department with open arms by my very talented and dedicated colleagues, which has truly been the best part of this career change,” she says. “I also had a fantastic time meeting folks at the recent Exceptional Experience Summit, which was a great opportunity to connect about the future of patient experience at BWFH.”

Moses lives in Salem with her wife, Tory, and two critters, Gertie the dog and Hermione the cat. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading cookbooks, testing recipes and de-stressing by watching what she calls “the trashiest reality TV Bravo has to offer.”
