Two new lactation rooms are now available to BWFH employees. Located in Suite 5F, employees can utilize the lactation rooms 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To gain access, please visit the EAP Mothers’ Corner and complete the room access request form.
On Monday, January 4, 2021, all BWFH Drug Administration Guidelines will be retired from BWFHconnect and moved to LexiComp. Prior to being moved, all DAGs were revised with up-to-date information. Starting January 1, 2021, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital will launch a new, real-time patient experience feedback program with NRC Health, which will replace Press Ganey. This transition will support our ongoing efforts to better understand and improve the patient experience. More.
Staff who have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine should follow the After COVID Vaccination Tip Sheet for Employees, for a guide on checking your symptoms within the first three days after receiving your vaccine, what to do if you experience any side effects and any work restrictions based on your reaction. This tip sheet has recently been updated to reflect a modification to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy that now requires testing for mild post-vaccination reactions/symptoms only if they last for more than one day during the three-day post-vaccination period.
Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital continues to offer on-site COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic (no signs of illness) staff members free of charge, with results returned to you approximately 24-36 hours later. Learn more and schedule a test.
