Gift creates lectureship in men’s health

Senior urological surgeon Michael O’Leary, MD, MPH, led the opening of the Men’s Health Center at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in 2015. Since then, the center has expanded to meet increased demand to address issues affecting quality of life for men, including erectile dysfunction, infertility, and other related concerns.

To honor O’Leary as a trailblazer in the field, a family foundation anonymously contributed $150,000 to establish an endowed lectureship in men’s health. The annual lectureship will fulfill the physician’s goal to bring in expert speakers to enhance knowledge among caregivers.

“I’m so grateful for this generous commitment to men’s health and support of our vision,” says O’Leary. “This will pave the way to bring new expertise and ideas in support of men’s health and well-being.”
