Due to challenges identified by staff regarding the new ILC Dover PAPR hoods, the PPE Distribution Center will now be offering the option to check out the previous PAPR model, the Bullard PA30. This is a temporary solution as we continue to explore alternative PAPR hood options. As a reminder, blower units can be hung on IV poles during the decontamination process. Once you have completed the decontaminated the process, the PAPR must be removed from the IV pole and placed in the bin that it was provided to you in. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Ben Pariser at bpariser@bwh.harvard.edu.

Thanks for your efforts in keeping our patients, workforce and community safe and secure.
Mass General Brigham recently launched a new campaign to remind our patients about how important preventative care and screenings are – even during COVID-19. Although we have seen many patients return to our hospitals and outpatient offices, we know that many patients are continuing to put off routine exams because of the pandemic. The campaign includes information about how preventative care impacts survival rates in cancer patients and reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Watch the television spot and preview one of the social media posts.
Join us for a special Virtual Schwartz Rounds for a discussion on: When a team struggles with capacity and autonomy . . . what if the patient’s choice could lead to death? The challenge to find the right course for their patient.
