BWFH's Campus Expansion

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital received approval for the Determination of Need (DoN) submission in May 2022 to begin working on a campus expansion program to better support care in our communities. Construction began in May of 2023.

Current Construction Updates: June 2025

Garage

• Continue sort, separate, and remove demolition debris.
• Begin removal of existing retaining walls and footings. Removal may require hammering which will cause some additional noise.

Inpatient Addition

Work Within Hospital Spaces

• 2nd Floor
  • Continued use of Hospital Loading Dock.

New Inpatient Building

• Level 1: Medication room reconfiguration, level 1 area alarm panel installation, and MRI room millwork completion.
• Level 2: Relocation of Endo 4 Zone Valve Box, medication room sink relocation.
• Level 3-5: Caulking at patient room sliders, miscellaneous punch list and OFCO install, Biomed wiring to telemetry monitors.
• Miscellaneous “day 2” work.
