Community Health and Wellness teams joins Ethos for a Conversation on Aging

Community Health Program Manager Katie Plante offers blood pressure screenings at Ethos’ Conversation on Aging: Ask the Experts event in West Roxbury

Local seniors were recently invited to attend a special event at the Elk’s Lodge in West Roxbury presented by Ethos. At the event, Conversation on Aging: Ask the Experts, a panel of experts focused on a healthy 2022 with discussion topics including healthy eating, physical activity and mental (emotional) health. Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital Community Health Program Manager Katie Plante joined the event, offering blood pressure screenings to attendees.

“The event was part of Ethos’ ongoing Conversations on Aging series,” explains Plante. “I was thrilled to be invited to join this year’s Ask the Experts session. I met so many wonderful seniors who were delighted to learn from the panel discussions. I conducted nearly 30 blood pressure screenings and was able to offer resources to those who screened high.”
