Jennifer Capone, MSN, RN, has been named Nurse Director for 7 South and IV Team at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital.

Capone studied nursing at Brockton Hospital School of Nursing and later earned her master’s degree in Nursing Education from Curry College. As Nursing Professional Development Manager for Nursing Orientation and Transition to Practice, a role she has held at BWFH since 2021, she has led the coordination of nursing orientation, enhanced the Newly Licensed Nurse Residency Program (leading it to PTAP accreditation) and developed a New to Practice Program for nursing support staff.

Of her decision to take on a new role as Nurse Director for 7 South and the IV Team, Capone says, “I am very excited to transition into the role of Nurse Director and continue all of the great work Mary Anne Barry has done for the unit and for her staff. I have big shoes to fill, but I am eager to get to work!”

Outside of work, Capone enjoys time with family and in the outdoors. “I spend most of my time watching my children play lacrosse, soccer and hockey,” she says. “I also enjoy skiing in the winter and boating in the summer.”
