BWFH welcomes new Operating Room Nurse Director

The operating room at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital recently welcomed Jacky Glenn, BSN, MBA, as its new Operating Room Nurse Director.

Glenn double majored in biology and psychology as an undergraduate at Boston University before deciding to pursue a career in nursing. She went on to earn her associate’s degree in nursing from Bunker Hill Community College, an MBA in healthcare from Simmons College and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Emmanuel College. In the spring of 2022, she completed the Program for Nurse Leaders: Raising Your Leadership Impact through the MGH Institute of Health Professionals.

Glenn began her career as an operating room nurse at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She comes to BWFH from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she served as the Administrative Clinical Advisor for the East Operating Room since 2017.

She recently bought a home in Roslindale, so when the director position here at BWFH opened, she jumped at the opportunity. In her first few weeks on the job, she has been focused on getting to know her team and colleagues throughout the hospital. “Everyone has been friendly, welcoming and helpful,” she says.

Outside of work, Glenn enjoys travel and trying new restaurants.
