BWFH names new Director of Patient Access and Revenue Cycle

John Hauck

John Hauck was recently named Director of Patient Access and Revenue Cycle at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. In this role, he will oversee all patient access services, including admitting, registration, Emergency Department registration and bed management as well as Revenue Cycle.

Hauck, a graduate of Saint Anselm College, comes to BWFH from the Partners eCare team, where he most recently served as the Application Manager of the Partners ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) - Prelude team.

“In my last role, I worked a lot with the team here at BWFH on admitting, bed planning and patient movement,” says Hauck. “Coming from the application side, you hear about workflows and you build the best you can based on what you understand. Now I have the opportunity to actually use Epic in a way that can impact users and patients.”

In his first few weeks on the job, Hauck has been getting to know his team and their workflows. “The team is great,” he says. “Everyone has been very welcoming and seems to enjoy working here.”

When he is not at work, Hauck spends his time with his wife and three children, ages 12, 9 and 6. “We do a lot of their activities,” he says. “I personally really like baseball, so I try to steer the kids in that direction as much as a I can.”

BWFH is also pleased to announce Koreen Regis has accepted the position of Operations Manager for Patient Access.
