BWFH names new Chief of Radiology

Dylan C. Kwait, MD

Dylan C. Kwait, MD, has been named Chief of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital.

Dr. Kwait graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and studied medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Maimonides Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kwait completed his training with a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Kwait returned to Brigham Health in 2015, covering the Breast and Emergency Radiology services. When the Radiology Department fully integrated into Brigham Health, Dr. Kwait facilitated the transition for members of the Breast Division and worked to harmonize workflows and operations. Dr. Kwait now practices exclusively as a Breast Imager for all of Brigham Health. A devoted medical educator, Dr. Kwait is also the Associate Director of the Harvard Medical School Radiology Clerkship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
