Through our Center for Older Adult Health, Brigham Medical Specialties at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital offers both primary and consultative outpatient care for patients 65 and older. Whatever the individual patient’s needs, the approach is comprehensive, with care provided by specialists in geriatric medicine. Our physicians focus on prevention as well as providing expert care to manage acute and chronic conditions that can affect us as we age.
By emphasizing regular health screenings, immunizations, and counseling on diet and lifestyle issues, our clinicians work with patients to avoid problems. They are up-to-date on the latest research and newest developments in treatment, so they can counsel patients on how to stay healthy and what the best options are should a problem arise.
For patients with complex medical issues we can coordinate care with other world-class specialists that share our office, such as Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, Nephrologists, and Pulmonologists.
