Patient and Family Advisory Council

at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital

PFAC Member Testimonials

I joined the BWFH PFAC after having surgery at the hospital and having a positive experience. I wanted to join the council to be able to give future patients a strong voice and to positively influence their patient experiences. It is rewarding to be able to provide input into proposed patient programs and improvements at each meeting and then see the changes implemented. It is impactful to know our council’s involvement in hospital improvements is helping patients and their families at some of their most vulnerable times.

- Jane PFAC Co-Chair

I joined PFAC because I felt it was important to the hospital to have valuable input from the patient’s perspective. I also enjoy hearing hospital news firsthand.

- Paula, PFAC Advisor

When I retired after over 50 years of working at BWFH, PFAC was suggested as an opportunity to continue serving our patients and their family members. I am thankful for the continued connection to this hospital that has been such an important part of my life both personally and professionally.
