New Project Coordinator hired in Radiology
During her tenure at Hofstra, Hadden completed several relevant internships, including leading an effort to streamline the admissions and discharge processes for cancer patients at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, working in development and fundraising in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Department at the Cancer Center for Kids at Winthrop University Hospital, and functioning as a Project Management Intern in the Palliative Care Department at Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, New York.
In her new role as Project Coordinator in the Department of Radiology, Hadden reviews multiple reports on Radiology's exam and patient statistics, as well as examining the day-to-day workflow of several of Radiology's modalities, which include CT scan, Nuclear Medicine, and MRI. Hadden's other work responsibilities include compiling survey data for Press Ganey that helps measure Radiology patients' overall satisfaction, as well as tracking employee hand hygiene across each of Radiology's modalities.
Upcoming projects for Hadden include working with BWFH's Director of Library Services in updating patient education materials for each of Radiology's modalities, as well as revamping the nomination form for Radiology's yearly Employee of the Year/Bermann Award distinction.
When not working at BWFH, Hadden enjoys cooking, baking, and hanging out with friends. Having recently moved to the Boston area, she also enjoys exploring local landmarks such as the Museum of Science and the New England Aquarium.
