BWHC Gets Ready for Partners eCare Implementation
"The Organizational Readiness Team will play an integral part in the successful implementation of Partners eCare at BWHC," says Dot Goulart, MS, RN, BWH Organizational Readiness Director. "In the coming months, the BWHC Organizational Readiness team will be introducing colleagues and staff to what Partners eCare is and the benefits and values that it brings to our organization. The team will also share information about upcoming organizational readiness activities and impacts activities may have on individual departments."
BWHC staff most impacted by the implementation will be receiving a series of surveys designed to help evaluate how the organizational readiness team is doing and to provide feedback on where more information about the Partners eCare implementation may be needed. "We ask all staff who receive a survey to please participate in these opportunities," explains Kae Santos, BWFH Organizational Readiness Director. "Your feedback will help us improve our processes and in the long run will help the implementation go more smoothly."

Partners eCare is a system-wide information technology infrastructure that will support Partners’ patient care, teaching, research, and community mission by providing high-quality, accessible, efficient, and coordinated patient care. The Partners eCare vision is “one patient, one record, one team, one Partners statement,” enabling a seamless flow of clinical and financial information about a patient anywhere within the Partners system. The goal is to improve coordination, reduce duplication of care, avoid unnecessary tests, and greatly improve convenience of care for both clinicians and patients.
